First thing to do is to check with the chapter coordinator to clear your date. This is important to make sure there are no conflicts with other shows in the chapter or any other conflicts that would crate a problem with your choice of dates. It might be a good idea to have an alternate date in mind.

Next would be to get the contract into National Judges. Nothing is definite until this contract with the deposit is in. All contracts should be in by March 15.

Third third thing to do is inviting the bands. All chapter bands should be invited first. Each band director has a list of chapter bands with phone numbers. Then all bands should be invited until the number of bands you want is achieved.
